Programs

Weld is implements the Wize binary weld, a self contained, standalone Tcl/Tk application. Once downloaded and installed, weld adds OS links for the following programs:

wted - the editor and IDE.
wtdb - the debugger frontend.

The major functionality of Weld is available within wted using <Shift-F5>.

Additionally, the Tcl source for Ted is unpacked into the install sub-directory app/, wherein links are added to ted and tdb. This can allow installations to also invoke these directly with wish.

The applications wted and wtdb are run indirectly via links to weld. However, as a wize, they can also be run directly from the binary using:

  weld /zvfs/app/ted/ted.tcl
